🔥How I passed the NCLEX in 75 questions.
⭐️USE YOUR DRY ERASE BOARD. I would write out the answers and strike out the ones I thought were wrong. ✔️SWIPE FOR EXAMPLE!
⭐️ANXIETY. I told myself that going past 75 questions is not the end of the world. I was prepared to take the full 265 questions. If the computer does not shut off while you are at 240 questions that means YOU STILL HAVE A CHANCE. You need to mentally prepare yourself to take the whole exam. Visualize yourself going into the exam calm and confident.
⭐️GO SLOW. It took me over 2 hours to do 75 questions. If you do not carefully read the questions and try to find the important clues then you have a higher chance of getting them wrong.
⭐️MARK KLIMEK. He is the ultimate NCLEX educator. I found his lectures for free on Youtube and listened to at least 30 hours worth of them!!
⭐️UWORLD. Their questions are challenging and the rationales are very helpful. Do not take your score to heart. I started out at 38% and by the end was at 60%. Do not compare yourself to the "average test taker" on UWORLD, just focus on reading the rationales and applying it.
⭐️QUIZLET. I made a few short Quizlets. One that was devoted just to pharm and safety procedures. LINK: https://quizlet.com/558570870/nclex-prep-pharm-flash-cards/
⭐️PACE YOURSELF. I tried not to overwhelm myself. Try to do at least 100 questions a day and limit studying to 3-4 hours per day. Do not cram for the NCLEX, just study at a consistent rate.
⭐️DAY BEFORE. I did not study at all the day before the exam. The night before the exam, I watched "The Bachelor" for the first time. Also getting a good nights rest is crucial!
⭐️DAY OF THE TEST. Eat at a well balanced breakfast that could keep you full for a couple hours. PLEASE TAKE YOUR BREAKS AT THE TEST. You get a break at 2.5 hours and 3.5 hour mark. I went to the bathroom to splash cold water on my face and gave myself a pep talk.
⭐️REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE. If you made it to the point of being able to take the NCLEX, then you are smart enough to pass it! Believe in yourself! XOXO
